Here are a few pictures of how we have set up some experiences at Pre-School to develop letters/paintings or drawings. We have used the story "Wilfred Gordon McDonald Partridge" to provoke thoughts and get some creative juices going. We have also used the provocation of pictures and some key words we could use to write a letter or copy words onto an art piece.
